I'd like to congratulate my nephew, Chris Wright, first on his marriage October 4 to his longtime sweetheart Jessie, and second on his impressive finish in his first poker tournament. While cruising the Caribbean on his honeymoon, Chris decided to play a $150 buy-in no-limit hold 'em event. Outside of playing small buy-in home events with family and friends, this was his first attempt at playing in a live event. I'm proud to announce he finished second and pocketed $600. I can't take credit for his second place finish because he wouldn't let me go on his honeymoon with him, but if he had maybe he would have finished first.
