Poker Player Cruises is Working on Scheduling More Cruises. We have been hard at work on our new supplement program that will appear in Poker Player Newspaper in the very near future. But we are also currently looking into scheduling more cruises and as soon as they are confirmed the details will appear in Poker Player Newspaper and on www.Poker-Player-Cruises.com so keep reading.
This is a First! I don’t know of any cardroom that has or ever had a daily high hand payout of $1,000 per day, but the Red Rock does. Beginning January 16 the High Hand Grand kicks off in all Texas Hold’em games. The promotion runs seven days a week from 2 a.m.-10 a.m. Aces full is the minimum hand to qualify, both cards in hand must play, and the winner will be paid in chips. Hands of the same value will divide the $1,000 equally. If no hand qualifies the money is forfeited for that day.
The Red Rock poker room is equipped with 20 tables and offers players a wide range of games to choose from. They also accept phone reservations and players must arrive within 30 minutes of calling in to remain on the list. You must notify the list person upon arrival.
You still have a little time to qualify through a satellite for the $250,000 guaranteed Red Rock Poker Challenge. The buy-in for single table satellites are $50 and $85, and the buy-in for the super satellites are $130 and $250. The main event buy-in is $1,100 and is scheduled for January 20-22. Single table satellites will end on January 19 and super satellites will end on January 20. For more information on Station Red Rock see their ad in this issue of Poker Player Newspaper.
