This isn’t just any poker tournament! The excitement of the Wynn Classic poker tournament returns February 28 through March 2. The 22-day series begins with a $550 buy-in opening event which guarantees a $250,000 prize pool. The tournament culminates with the Main Event on March 17. This year, the prize pool for the Main Event is expected to exceed $1,000,000. Buy-ins range from $300 to $5,180. All tournaments begin at 12 pm and are re-entry events. All events are two day events except the championship event is a four day event.

“We’ve hosted The Wynn Classic for seven years and its reputation continues to grow and attract more players from around the world,” said Joe Vigurs Director of Poker Operations at Wynn Las Vegas. “We offer a competitive rake structure and guaranteed prize pools, making the Wynn Classic one of the most highly anticipated poker tournaments in Las Vegas.”

Located in the Forbes Five-Star rated Wynn Las Vegas, The poker room features 26 tables and variety of games and limits to suit all levels of play, including daily tournaments. Players can enjoy traditional games in a comfortable setting and dine without leaving their seats. Power stations and outlets are conveniently located at all tables. The first event kicks off with a $150,000 guaranteed nolimit hold’em event for a mere $150 buy-in. If that’s not enough to entice you to attend this event then maybe the Mega Million VI $1,000,000 guaranteed event will. First place is guaranteed $200,000! The series runs through April 3 with buy-ins ranging from FREE to $345. The free event refers to the Freeroll Qualifiers Only event. To qualify play 5 of 10 of the 1 pm or 6 pm qualified orange sessions and get an entry into the freeroll. Every event except one is guaranteed anywhere from $10,000 to $1,000,000. The majority of tournaments are no-limit hold’em but the list also includes pot limit Omaha eight or better, Omaha eight-or-better, HORSE, and bounty events. The final table of the $150,000 guaranteed event and the Mega Million VI will be streamed LIVE at the Bike.
