I spent the last two weeks of 2011 with family in Maryland and one of the highlights of my visit was meeting the newest addition to the family, my seven-month old niece, Madison. My visit was filled with days of playing with Madison, along with my nine-year old niece Alyssa, and my two nephews, seven-year old Jimmy and six-year old Brandon.
The entire family converges on my Dad’s on Christmas morning to open presents and see what Santa brought the little ones. The entire ordeal is exhausting but it’s fun to see the expressions on the little ones’ faces when see what they asked Santa for under the tree. After opening presents my sister and I spent the day cooking a traditional turkey dinner. Spending two weeks with three very active kids and a baby is fun, but I must admit it was refreshing to get back to the quiet of my own home. I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays as much as I did.

A $100 bounty is awarded for every player you knock out.
2012 Jack & Jill Couples Tournaments! This event has a $5,000 guaranteed prize pool for a $65 buy-in per couple. The first event is scheduled for January 29 at 9 a.m. with players starting with 2,500 in chips and an additional 1,500 in chips for a $10 staff appreciation buy. This event is limited to 200 entries and players can sign-up at the poker cage. 2012 Big Stack No-limit Tournaments! The first event begins at 11:15 a.m. on January 7 followed by the second on February 14. The buy-in is $330 and players start the event with a whopping 10,000 stack. Player can receive an additional 3,000 chips with a $15 staff appreciation bonus buy.
