Garden City Group selected by United States as Claims Administrator for Full Tilt Poker Claims

Preet Bharara, the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, announced today that the United States has retained the Garden City Group (“GCG”) to serve as Claims Administrator to oversee the process of compensating eligible victims of the fraud committed by Full Tilt Poker against United States players.

Bharara said, "The Garden City Group brings a track record of handling the administration of some of the country’s largest and most complicated settlements. With their selection, we take a significant step forward in the process of compensating victims of the Full Tilt Poker scheme.”

Under the terms of the July settlement in which PokerStars acquired Full Tilt they agreed to forfeit $547 million to the United States. These funds are being used by the DoJ to compensate U.S. fraud victims and now Garden City Group has been selected as Claims Administrator for Remission claims submitted by the U.S. Full Tilt fraud victims.

The victim claims process will begin shortly. Information about the claims administration will be posted on the dedicated website GCG has established in connection with the victim compensation process, www.FullTiltPokerClaims.com.
