Hopefully, Not a Trend. In the 80's the Hilton had the reputation as one of the best place's to play poker in Las Vegas. I fondly remember a trip to Vegas back in 1988 that led me to the Hilton poker room, at which time I was not only introduced to casino poker but where I vowed to some day return to take up residence. I returned several times but it wasn't until 1995 that I took up residence and now I'm saddened to announce the Hilton has again closed their poker room.
