The Palms poker room is starting a $7,000 bi-weekly freeroll. Only 20 hours of live play is required to qualify for a seat in a single table satellite. First and second place winners of the single table satellites will receive $100 and a chance to play for $5,000. In the past they have averaged 20 players. Players with 40 hours of live play will receive a second entry into the satellites.
Diamond Flush Drawings daily: Players making a diamond flush are entered into a drawing each morning at 9 a.m. Four winners will receive $100 each. Players have 24 hours to collect their winnings. Progressive high hand jackpots are also offered with royal flushes paying $599.

Harvey's Lake Tahoe to Host the Sierra Poker Classic: This World Series of Poker satellite event runs from April 2 through April 11. The event list includes mostly no-limit events with the exception of a limit Omaha/8, a crazy pineapple/8 and a ladies no-limit event. The main event begins April 10 with a $1,500 buy-in. Entries for all other events are $200-$300. Second chance tournaments will run nightly from April 2-10 at 7 p.m. with a $200 buy-in. Mega-satellites will run daily from April 2-8 at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. with a $230 buy-in.
The tournament staff includes Casino Manager Steve Schorr, Cardroom Manager Vince Contaxis and Tournament Director Janis Sexton.
