Designed by renowned experts in coastal architecture, entertainment destinations, and theatrical design, the unique design of Revel Casino is unlike anything you have seen before. It is strikingly gorgeous, fit, in particular, for those willing to do some walking as there is a vast amount of property to explore.
When you are checking in, if you choose to self park, it’s easy. Just drive to the 11th floor, walk a short distance to the registration area where you’ll get your key to one of the incredible guest rooms- each of which has an unbelievable view of the ocean. A touch pad in your room answers your questions. In it’s design, full of remarkable statements from small to huge, Revel rivals Vegas. The SkyGarden with its 72 evergreen trees among plenty of other foliage and four fire pits is something to be seen and experienced high atop Atlantic City.
The pool allows guest to swim inside and outside by swimming through a door. The outside water is kept at 85 degrees for cold weather swimming. The cabana area is beautiful with the curtains flowing in the sea breeze. Revel Beach is the address of the “in crowd” for night life these days too.
Acclaimed nightlife entertainment producer Ivan Kane delivers a burlesque nightclub with seating in the round, flying catwalks, and lasers that transcend into a very intense atmosphere. The HQ Nightclub consists of four distinct levels, each different from the other. Space does not allow all that should be seen to be described. It needs to be seen in person and experienced. But these clubs will set a new standard for East Coast nightlife.
Recently, the Eagles were in concert at Revel’s 5,500 seat Ovation Hall. The acoustics are so perfect that even the performers have been impressed.
As for the poker room, step into a place that envelopes you in a world of plush and class. With its lush red carpets, great lighting directed over each poker table, relaxing and elegant feel, if a poker room could be called sexy, this would be the one pictured next to the definition in the dictionary! Managed by Frankie Foti, with his barrel chested build and custom-made suits, he appears very much like the man in charge. And he IS. Frankie has been around the business most of his life, and he has probably forgotten most of what the newer people haven’t even learned yet. There are 37 tables. I asked Frankie about expansion, “Revel can adapt and change at any time to better enhance the experience here for our guests so Revel can change day to day,” he said.
Several of my friends traveled from Columbus, Ohio to Atlantic City to play at another casino, but instead played at Revel. They were told by the other players, that once they played at Revel, it quickly became their favorite poker room in the city. My friends also told me the floor people and dealers made them feel as though they were playing a home game among friends. This poker room has a great feel to it!
There are 2,439 slot machines and 97 table games among 14 restaurants and a very special shopping section. The bar has been raised at Revel. The others have a great example to follow, least they be left behind in the sand. Visionary Kevin De Santis who serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Revel must feel tremendous pride in seeing this stunning, shinning, glimmering architectural phenomenon come to fruition.
