In late 2005, poker players and Michigan natives Dennis "AceJones" Brown and Chris "ALakeofFire" McMahan, teamed up with David "DC" Collister, a 20 year terrestrial radio veteran, with an idea for online poker radio. As a result, Rounder's Radio, found online at www.roundersradio.com, launched January 1, 2006.
Although podcasting and web radio is a reasonably new media venue, it has exploded in popularity. Currently Rounder's Radio reaches listeners in 85 countries, building a truly international community of poker players with live call in numbers for 3 countries, as well as forums, live shows, podcasts, and one of the most active poker chat rooms on the net.
Players have the option of listening to live shows and interacting live or downloading podcasts of broadcasts for listening at their leisure. Weekly shows are hosted from some of the top names in poker including, Annie Duke, Lou Krieger, Tony Guerrerra, Bernard Lee, Mark "Poker HO" Kroon, Gary Wise, and more.

Want the scoop on everything sports? The Covers Radio show offers some of the best handicappers in the world predicting upcoming action!
3. Lou Krieger-Keep Flopping Aces. Can't get enough of our own editor and columnist Lou Krieger? You can catch his live show on Rounder's every Thursday night at 9:00 p.m., EST. Listeners can call in to talk to Lou and his guests in person.
4. Tony Guerrerra-Killer Poker Analysis, another Poker Player favorite, airs Fridays at 8:00 p.m., EST. Nearly any topic is game on Tony's show, although the focus is mainly on poker strategy. Some weeks feature a guest; past guests have included Todd Brunson, Phil Gordon, Nick "Stoxtrader" Grudzien, Collin Moshman, and Dave "GhettoFabolous" Randall. Other weeks, he runs solo and opens the phone lines.
And if some of the best free poker advice on the Internet isn't enough, Tony gives away a seat to the Blaze Me Up Freeroll, a heads-up match against him at Reefer Poker. The prize pool starts at $25 and goes up $25 for every match that he wins. When someone beats him, the prize pool reverts to $25.
Rounders Radio hosts dozens of private tourneys each month from free-rolls to money added buy in tournaments, and offers free trips to land based tourneys as well. The level of play in their events is above average, so you will find this a good place to hone your poker skills and test new strategies against some of the best online players on the Internet.
When a live show or rerun is not scheduled, you will hear a wide selection of quality music to listen to while playing. Poker Radio is a cutting edge and effective way for fans and players to come together and learn to play better. When there isn't a WSOP bracelet winner or a ring game specialist on the schedule, listeners are invited to call in and be the stars. Questions and comments are always welcome! Learning this card game from the experience of others speeds up the learning curve and that is Rounder's goal.
They offer several ways to interact with the poker shows, including local phone numbers for US, Canada, and UK, a forum, and one of the most active poker chat rooms on the web. If you want to rock your game, log on to RoundersRadio.com.
