A Tournament a Day at Dover Downs

By Barbara Rogers
You can find a tournament seven days a week at Delaware’s Dover Downs Hotel & Casino. Friday’s tournament always guarantees a $5,000 pay out, except for the February 24 event, which carries a guarantee of $10,000.
Buy-ins range from $50 to $120, and Sunday is bounty day, beginning at 7 p.m., for a buy-in of $80 you can have a lot of fun while winning money.
The bad beat is currently $125,000, with the prior three bad beat jackpots going off at well over $150,000. A drawing on February 19 will give away $3,000, while on February 26 the give-away is $5,000.
To qualify for the drawing, three hours of consecutive cash game play is required. Dover Downs Hotel & Casino is a premier gaming and resort destination in the Mid-Atlantic region and its 500 AAA-rated Four Diamond hotel rooms and suites are beautiful. Call 302.857.CARD for reservations and information. In addition to everything else, Dover Downs has a Nascar track. You may experience the thrill of driving on this track for a nominal fee.
