The WSOP is Back at Lumiere Place! By Debbie Burkhead After a one-year interruption the WSOP Circuit event is coming back to St. Louis. This is a brand new stop on the WSOP circuit; it was originally scheduled at the Horseshoe Casino in Cleveland. The event is scheduled to kick off on March 20 and run through March 31. The 12 day event will award 12 rings and will offer numerous non-ring side events and cash games. They will also award two seats to the WSOP National Championship in Atlantic City in May.
The official ring events range from $300-$1,500 buy-ins, and the non-ring events range from $100- $200. Nightly second chance events, mega satellites, and super satellites will also be offered throughout the event. The no-limit hold’em championship event is a four day event scheduled to start on Friday, March 28 with a $1,500 buy-in that starts at noon. Players who bust out on Friday may re-enter on Saturday, March 29.
Lumiere Place is located in downtown St. Louis and features a 13-table poker room, a wide selection of restaurants, and a variety of nightlife entertainment.
