Please Help Support our Nevada Veterans! The Inaugural Operation Homefront Nevada Poker Event is open to the public. The event will provide support to our Nevada Veterans, Wounded Warriors and their families. The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10047, located at 4337 N. Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV will run $10 satellites on Saturday, November 10 at 6 pm and Sunday, November 11 at 1 pm. with winners receiving an entry into the main event. Satellites will also be available at 7 pm Wednesday, November 14 at Juke Joint located at 4230 E. Craig Rd. Players may play as many satellites as they like and may distribute winning entries to anyone they wish. The final event will be held on Saturday, November 17 at the VFW. The event will begin at 5 pm with a $100 buy-in. The buy-in for players arriving after 3 pm up until 3:30 pm is $105.00. The format for this event is 1/2 hour of limit hold’em and the remainder of the event will be no-limit hold’em. Poker Action at Chumash Casino Happens Everyday! Monday’s $500 High Hand Promotion kicks off with one $50 winner at 6 pm & 6:30 pm and every half hour from 8 pm-10:30 pm and one $100 winner at 11 pm. Don’t forget the Winner Take All event at 7 pm with a free buy-in and a $1,000 prize. Tuesday is reserved for a $60 buyin no-limit hold’em event starting at 7 pm with $300 added and a $15 “live” play coupon. Wednesday is the same format but the buyin is $55 and the same for Thursday but with a $40 buy-in. Players can earn additional chips by playing live two hours prior to the 7 pm tournaments on Monday-Thursday. Friday’s event is a no-limit event starting at 7:30 with a $150 buy-in, $200 added and a $20 “live” play coupon. Friday and Saturday are also High Hand bonus days with $500 being given away through drawings held every half hour between 1 pm-6 pm. Players can start earning tickets each day at 11 am. Saturday and Sunday are reserved for no-limit hold’em events starting at 10:15 am. Saturday’s event has a $50 buy-in with $300 added and Sunday’s event has a $70 buy-in with $500 added. Sunday’s event has a $10 Deep Stack option and entrants can earn additional chips by playing 2.5 hours prior to the start of the event.
