Here’s a little different take on tournament entry: for only $35.00 as an entry fee, you must place in the top two of a qualifier, there is no direct buy-in. The good news is, there will be four $35.00 held daily on Thursday 24th thru Saturday the 26th. The times are as follows: 12pm, 3pm, 7pm, and 10pm. The top two from each table advance to Sunday’s main event. The tournament will start on the 27th at 11am. The format is Deep Stack Turbo, 20 minute levels with 20,000 chips to work with. First place takes $5,000, 2nd takes $2,750, with 3rd place pocketing $1,800. A total of thirty places will be paid.
At the cash tables, another $20,000 will be spread around the room. Every two hours, the high hand receives $300 in cash. Omaha games are not eligible and the high hand winner must be present within five minutes of winning to collect the prize.
More cash giveaways will include first four jacks or better and risk attacks every two hours, carrying on from noon on Thursday, January 24 until Sunday the 27th. Also on the 27th, $2,500 in “Last Chance” drawings will be given away—$1,000 at 4 p.m., another $1,000 at 8 p.m., and $500 more at midnight. For every hour of play you log, you get another entry coupon into the drawings. You must be present to win—an easy pleasure in this action-packed room.
